Paro Festival

One of Bhutan’s most popular festivals, the Paro Tshechu is a vibrant religious event featuring masked dances, traditional performances, and blessings from monks. The highlight is the unfurling of the giant Thangka (Thongdrol), a sacred painting that is believed to cleanse sins upon sight.
